#204: Get fresh flowers from Columbia Road Flower Market

January can be a bit depressing: the short days, the grey skies, the cold and rain. For me, a good cure for the winter bahs is to head over to Columbia Road Flower market where I can banish the blues by getting cheap (by London standards) fresh-cut flowers in almost any colour of the rainbow.

The atmosphere is fun as well. Listening to Jazz musicians playing while some sort of German apres ski food is being cooked? It's times like this that really test my dieting (and no coffee) will power.

I may have left the market hungry, but I also left with some lovely flowers that brightened my kitchen for more than a week.
